Eastguard City Park

Eastguard City Park sits along the western stretch of the harbor district, where the noise of Bree’s Bread and Brews fades into open grass and the wind begins to carry the scent of the New Coast. The park serves as a quiet patch of green between the working lanes of the harbor and the busier trade streets of the town.

A gravel path curves through the small grounds, passing a few benches carved from weathered oak and a pair of shade trees older than most of the surrounding buildings. Children often run across the grass during the day while travelers sit on the benches to rest their legs before continuing toward the docks.

A simple iron lantern post stands near the center path, lit at dusk by the town lamplighters. In the evening the place softens into a calm pocket of quiet conversation, the sound of distant harbor bells drifting in with the wind.

From the western edge of the park the view opens toward the harbor water and the masts of ships tied along the docks. The park is not large, but its presence breaks the tight pattern of buildings in this part of Eastguard. People come here to sit, talk, read, or simply breathe for a few minutes before returning to the noise of town life.
