Dera’s Apothecary
Dera’s Apothecary is a narrow, cluttered shop on Main Street where Eastguard’s stubborn alchemist formulates potions, salves, remedies, and the occasional accidental explosion. The shop looks cramped even before stepping inside, with jars and ingredients crowding the front windows.
Inside, the air smells of herbs, hot metal, and something sharp that lingers in the nose. Every surface holds jars, vials, dried plants, powders, and bubbling experiments in progress. Shelves run floor to ceiling with no clear organization beyond whatever system Dera understood at the moment she put something there.
A battered counter separates customers from the most volatile mixtures, though even that does not guarantee safety. Eastguard residents know the place well. Most only visit when they absolutely need something Dera makes.
The shop carries healing potions, antitoxins, herbal poultices, alchemical reagents, and the occasional experimental brew if Dera happens to be in a cooperative mood.
